I'd read up on Time Out that the British Library was holding an exhibition PUNK 1976 - 1978. It was a free and sounded interesting so I gave it a go. I know of the punk era and i'm aware of some of the happenings however nothing too in depth so reading some of the notes made things clearer for me. The exhibition space kind of went around in a timeline order, starting from the early days and the birth of The Sex Pistols, how crazy and fast their influence spread across not only music scenes but fashion and graphic styles nationwide. The exhibition had headsets playing clips from albums and tv shows with interviews on with band members, it was such a shock to see how they interacted with the presenters with their flippant and care-free attitudes, so savage!!
